Baalamani ia a New Serial on Mazhavil Manorama that will be telecasted on Jan 6, 2014. Mr Gireesh Konni is the director of this serial and it produced by Prime focus productions. The story of this series is written by Mayadevi and it based on her famous Novel 'Peythozhiyum Neram' which was published in famous weekly magazine Malayala Manorama. Vinaya Prasad is the lead actress in this serial. The story of the serial revolves round Sumangala and her three sons and their wives. Devika Nambiar plays the title role of Balamani
Story The story of Balamani serial is based on Azhakathu family in which Sumangala is lives with her son's and daughter in law's. They are very rich family and owns many business's which include some garments exporting also. Aravind , Anand and Anathu are the name of Sumangala's son's and they wed's to Balamani, Abhirami and Mythili. The story is revolving around the incidents which happens in their family and they over come those. Malayalam film Actress Vinaya Prasad is playing the title role of Sumangala or Azhakathamma .
Actress Devika Nambiar is playing the title role of Balamani . She is a well known mini screen actress in Kerala who started her acting career through the serial 'Parinayam' which also aired in Mazhavil Manorama. She was the main heroine in that serial and in which she played the character Krishnaveni. Malayalam director Rajasenan played a important role in that serial and his character was the father of Krishnaveni. After the end of that serial she take a one year gap from serials and then she started acting in Balamani.
