Asianet serial 'Pranayam' is the remake of Hindi serial 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein'. The story of 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein' is loosely based on Manju Kapur's novel Custody.
It is produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms and directed by Sameer Kulkarni and Sahil Sharma. It was one of the hit soap opera on Star Plus TV and it was previously titled as 'Mera Tera Rishta Purana'. Because of the high rating this serial remade in to other Indian languages which include Tamil as 'Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai' airs on STAR Vijay, Bengali language as 'Mon Niye Kachakachi' airs on STAR Jalsha, Kannad as 'Avannu Matte Shravani' on Asianet Suvarna and now in Malayalam as 'Pranayam'.
Asianet is all set to launch their new prime time serial 'Pranayam' on 6th July 2015 at 07.00 PM. The serial is directed by Krishnan and produced by Sreesaran creations. This is the story of love, between two strangers. Hero is the CEO of a multinational company. Heroin Lakshmi, is dentist, who lives happily in Kerala. Saran, the hero, is divorced, and lives with his daughter Malu. Malu and Lakshmi become close, and this relation brings Saran and Lakshmi closer.
In Pranayam, Srinish Aravind is the hero Sharan and Varads plays the role of Lekshmi. Srinish is giving life to Sharan who is the CEO of a multinational company while Heroin Lakshmi, is dentist, who lives happily in Kerala. The story of the serial surrounds around Sharan and Lakshmi. The serial crossed more than 100 episodes on Asianet and currently it is one of the top five serials in Malayalam. Here Sharan is divorced and lives with his daughter Malavika.
The serial Pranayam started telecasting from July 2015 and it features Srinish Aravind, Varada, Sredha, Kottayam Rsheed, Beena Antony, Kailas Nath, Anuradha Krishnamurthy, Aadithyan Jayan, Arya Sreeram , Maneesh, Pratheeksha, Naveen Arakkal, Althara, Amrita and Adarsh. Dubbing artiste Sidharth is giving voice to Srinish's character Sharan Menon.
