The first Flowers Television awards have been announced on January 20 2016. This is the first time that a Malayalam Television channel is announcing awards for TV program in all Malayalam channels. Kitex is the main sponsor of Flowers Television awards 2016 and the award ceremony will take place on this January 23 2016 at Kizhakkambalam. With this TV Award Function, the channel aims to place it’s popularity among the top position . It is already in third position. K Sasikumar got the award of best ever time achievement award who is the one of the founder of the first Malayalam Private Channel Asianet. Judging panel :Malayalam film actor Madhu headed the five member Jury comity and the awards have been divided in to 15 categories .Film director Saji Surendran, Cinematographer Azhagappan, Television anchor Rajeswary Mohan, Usha S Nair were the remaining members in the jury panel.
